This system belongs to the class of WMS-systems (Warehouse Management System). Its functionality includes the general functions of the warehouse account, conducting address storage, formation of accounts, certificates and reports on the rendered services and other functions, characteristic for modern control systems of a warehouse.

The system is created on the basis of modern web-technologies. One of the basic priorities in WMS-system working out are creation for logistical centre «ALKOM» of the simple, convenient and reliable tool of automation of the warehouse account, and also maintenance of flexibility and an adaptability of system in the course of its operation and at expansion of functionality.

Before the work beginning predesign inspection in which course the information infrastructure of object of automation has been studied has been executed, business processes in the organisation are described, the analysis of current level of automation is made. By results of inspection conclusions are drawn on necessity of working out of the automated system of warehouse account WMS «ALKOM», and also offers on system engineering are prepared and proved.

At the moment working out of the technical project and job schedule preparation on working out, testing and system introduction comes to the end.
